I am underrated by my gpa. I build bridges between tradition and modernity, culture and business, East and West.
Hi, I’m Max Gong — a storyteller, cultural explorer, and media creator. I grew up surrounded by Chinese philosophy, tea culture, and calligraphy, but I’ve also spent years living and studying across Asia and the U.S. This gave me not just two cultural lenses, but the ability to translate between worlds.
My creative language is film, writing, and design. I document hidden human stories — from a flower seller in Shanghai’s night streets to fast-paced football livestreams — searching for the quiet moments that reveal resilience, beauty, and connection.
I’m also an entrepreneur raised in a family of real industries: hotels, restaurants, teahouses, real estate. I’ve observed how business shapes culture, and vice versa. That’s why I co-founded a streetwear brand with global skating and film culture. Today, people from Shanghai to Russia wear our designs, and my next stop is New York and Los Angeles.
I love creating things from scratch — not because I want to be the best, but because I’m endlessly curious. Whether it’s building a new idea, a community, or a cultural experience, I want to make something real that connects people.
My vision is simple: to use culture, storytelling, and business to bring people together. In a divided world, meaningful stories can build bridges that last.
